For a third consecutive year, Lisa Maxwell of Atlanta-based executive search firm Gerard Stewart has attained status from Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), having been named to its “Global Power 100 — Women in Staffing” list.
Maxwell is Gerard Stewart’s founder and managing partner. SIA’s list is considered an overall spotlight rather than a numerical ranking, with an emphasis on women whose work has shaped their respective industries, according to SIA.
In her time with Gerard Stewart, Maxwell has seen to the firm’s client portfolio growth and facilitated “record-breaking” revenue growth — tallying 47 percent in 2015 and 62 percent in 2016. Additionally, she supported the company’s growing global footprint.
“I am honored to be among the growing number of women taking on leadership roles and thriving in this industry,” Maxwell said in response to the recognition. “Staffing and talent management have evolved to become more critical to and integrated into business strategy, and I am thrilled to be part of this group of leaders who are shaping the human capital space and its impact on business.”
SIA publisher Subadhra Sriram expressed pride in all the women executives’ accomplishments, citing their “impressive caliber of female leadership.”
“We are extremely proud to celebrate their success stories and to raise awareness for the values and diversity so integral to our industry and essential to keeping us competitive while elevating the industry,” Sriram said.
