Human capital management systems provider Paychex recently launched Sage Intacct — an interactive upgrade adapted from the Paychex General Ledger Service (GLS) — in its ongoing dedication to fostering improvements in accounting services.
Sage Intacct provides real-time integration, company officials said, lending accountants and clients access to vital information on demand. The program works in part by acquiring data directly from the firm’s Paychex GLS to provide a seamless experience — enabling Human Resources professionals to synchronize payroll functions with their general accounting operations.
"In today's digital world, we know accountants rely on multiple platforms to serve their clients' diverse needs. While having access to a host of powerful tools delivers client value, data integrity is often a challenge," Tom Hammond, vice president of corporate strategy and product management for Paychex, said. "With this new functionality, we're delivering real-time data integration from two brands dedicated to serving the accounting community, Paychex and Sage Intacct."
In addition to automating information transfer, the new program also safeguards data accuracy by featuring user-friendly ways of recognizing missing links; and additionally saving time and lowering the risk of errors by eliminating the task of manual data input.
Paychex provides payroll, HR, retirement and insurance offerings.
