HR service provider Randstad US plans several presentations illuminating technology, workplace robotics and inclusion practices at the American Staffing Association’s upcoming Staffing World 2017 expo slated for Wednesday through Friday at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center.
Staffing World 2017 is expected to draw almost 2,000 professional staffing industry attendees, including recruiters, technology and marketing executives and principals. Randstad US will present three sessions featuring speakers and discussion panels.
First, Randstad North America Chief Digital Officer Alan Stukalsky will speak on the hiring experience at 2:15 p.m. Thursday in “Engage Technology Disruptors or Get Left Behind.” He will explain how to address market changes effectively in an age of increasingly “overflowing user and job data.”
The following day will feature two events: Randstad US Executive Vice President Doug Hammond, addressing robotic tools at the 11:30 a.m. in “Robotics and Humans at Work -- Staffing Solutions of the Future” and Randstad North America’s chief diversity and inclusion officer Audra Jenkins moderating a 2:30 p.m. panel on “Staffing Solutions for a More Diverse Workforce.”
Hammond’s workshop “will address the apprehension tied to implementing robots in the workplace,” while Jenkins plans to demonstrate ways to circumvent work force shortages through strategic hiring approaches.
