Veolia seeks a full-time human resources generalist in Lombard, Illinois.
Duties of the position include maintaining job descriptions, scheduling interviews, assisting with the onboarding process, maintaining employee data, coordinating HR communication, handling employee relations matters, advising on HR-related polices and procedures, researching cost of benefits, coordinating the preparation of reports on HR metrics, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field; at least two years of HR experience; experience using Microsoft Suite products; strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, administrative and multi-tasking skills; the ability to handle confidential information; the ability to work within a team atmosphere; and knowledge of basic HR practices and principles in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred qualifications include PHR certification.
