Benefits technology company Businesssolver last week showcased one of its latest products at the industry's main event of the year.
The Iowa-headquartered company, which provides software as a service (SaaS) benefits administration technology, showcased the MyChoice Mobile App at the 2017 HR Technology Conference & Expo in Las Vegas. It launched the app in March.
"The MyChoice Mobile App is making the benefits experience better by giving employees access to benefits anytime, anywhere, and when they need it most," Sean McMurray, Businesssolver's chief technology officer, told HR Daily Wire. "Employees don’t have to worry about being at a doctor appointment without their insurance card. They can easily access it through the app. Or, they can ask a live agent why a certain prescription isn’t covered when at the pharmacy window."
In the first five months, 170 clients have adopted the MyChoice Mobile App, which is now accessible to more than 1 million employees.
"The mobile app has also triggered a 353 percent increase in mobile enrollments in employer benefits, validating the original intent of the app – to make the benefits experience better and easier for users," McMurray said.
According to the company, the development and design strategy behind the app is to streamline benefits management and data reporting for employer administrators on the company's Benefitsolver platform.
It is also aimed to continue to support the employee experience as one that transforms benefits from a singular annual enrollment event to a year-round personalized journey.
"HR Tech is annually the marquee event for vendors, carriers, and customers in the benefits technology industry," Rae Shanahan, Businessolver's chief strategy officer, said in a statement. "There's no better place for us to shine a spotlight on our incredible product development team and showcase all that they've done in the last year to help Businessolver deliver on its mission to delight our clients."
