Packaging products manufacturer Novolex is looking to hire a human resources generalist to work at its facility in Jerome, Idaho.
Duties of the position include overseeing recruiting/staffing, implementing HR initiatives, administering HR polices and procedures, and handling employee relations issues.
Prospective candidates must possess strong communication, critical thinking and decision-making skills; a systems-orientated way of thinking; and experience with benefits administration, open enrollment, payroll system upgrades, and employee relations and engagement.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of relevant experience and education, at least three years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment, experience with high volume hourly staffing, and prior experience in safety management and handling workers compensation.
