The National Human Resources Association’s Los Angeles chapter (NHRA-LA) recently named media company tronc's Cindy Ballard, who serves as senior vice president of HR, as the 2017 Los Angeles Human Resources Executive of the Year.
With newsrooms nationwide, tronc serves numerous major metropolitan national newspapers. Ballard’s role involves overseeing corporate culture, talent strategy, organizational structure and additional HR functions. With a background in HR leadership at media and advertising entities, she has helped firms transform their digital presence and direction.
