In a pioneering product introduction, cloud-based solutions provider Infor has implemented its “Infor Coleman” branded AI platform into the existing Infor Talent Science suite created for its CloudSuite system.
Coleman performs as a data miner, assessing inventory, transportation and maintenance — and with the new addition, HCM functions. The add-on will specifically focus on role-based profile development, company spokespersons said, explaining that Infor Talent Science has developed ways of using behavioral and performance information to create predictive models across a customer base.
"We've proven that the single assessment concept provides a significant strategic advantage for businesses today,” Patrick McKittrick, Infor Talent Science vice president and general manager, said. “It enables HR professionals to look across talent acquisition and talent management through one lens. Now, we are using the latest in AI to maximize the predictability of our performance profiles and drive further benefit into our customers' hands."
The new AI suite will be able to incorporate machine learning into projected outcomes using Infor’s performance models. In addition, the new system will actually amplify the accuracy of those models themselves.
"Both changes greatly decrease the level of human intervention needed for the creation of our predictive models and allow these models to dynamically adapt as conditions change within the workforce and the organization," Jill Strange, vice president for Infor HCM science applications, said. “This will result in more predictive models, which ultimately lead to lower turnover and higher performance for those people who are a good fit.”
