Hitachi Data Systems Federal Inc., a data solutions provider to the federal government and wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Data Systems, has appointed Mark Serway as chief financial officer and vice president of operations.
Serway comes to HDS Federal with more than 25 years of experience. He has worked in both the government and commercial sectors leading corporate finance, operations management, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partner relations.
Prior to HDS Federal, Serway served as chief financial officer for Govplace, a government technology solutions provider. Other companies that Serway has worked for include Employment Enterprises, Paradigm Solutions, Lockheed Martin IT, Getronics Government Solutions, Babcock & Wilcox, and Boeing Computer Services.
Serway will report to HDS Federal President and CEO David Turner.
