Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in HR or the equivalent; at least two years of HR work experience; motivation, exemplary customer service and communication skills; high energy; and fast learning capabilities. Additionally, analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities are needed.
The successful applicant for this position will be able to multi-task -- meeting deadlines and using proven knowledge of I-9 forms -- as well as maintain utmost confidentiality. Computer skills should include Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
The HR assistant will report directly to the local HR manager and serve as an important member of the entire HR team, supporting the department with employee relations matter resolution; recordkeeping and paperwork; handling verification and policy questions, and overseeing staff performance review.
The ideal candidate will be able to sustain and nurture positive working relationships with benefits and recruiting specialists also working in the HR department. Additionally, he or she will assume additional responsibilities and projects over time.
