DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana seeks a full-time human resources generalist and benefits administrator.
Duties of the position include communicating provisions of benefits packages, maintaining up-to-date benefit plan materials, developing employee wellness programming, managing the open enrollment process, maintaining employee benefit records, performing annual medical plan audits, resolving benefits issues, and analyzing information on HR topics.
Prospective candidates must possess an associate’s degree in a related field; at least five years experience in benefit and leave administration; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational, project management, conflict resolution, and time management skills; a strong customer service orientation; the ability to work as a team member; the ability to handle confidential information; and strong knowledge of HR-related state and federal regulations.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, ADP experience, advanced Excel spreadsheet skills, strong computer applications knowledge, and PHR or SPHR certification.
