Specialty materials provider Entegris has named Susan Rice as senior vice president of human resources.
Rice will be responsible for a human resources strategy for the company’s 3,500 global team members. She replaces Joseph Murphy, who retired this summer.
Rice comes to the company from Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she was chief human resources officer. At Thermo Fisher, she helped implement the company’s global HR strategy.
"Sue's proven experience in establishing a culture of change in large, diverse, and global organizations comes at a perfect time for Entegris," Entegris CEO Bertrand Loy said in a statement. "As Entegris continues to expand its business globally, many of the toughest challenges lie with attracting and retaining the industry's best talent. Sue's experience will be invaluable as we more closely align human resources to our business strategies in order to create greater value for our customers through excellence in design, performance and quality."
Rice earned a master's degree in public health from Yale University and a bachelor's degree in biology from Bates College.
