Human Resource Executive Magazine has opened voting for its 2017 “Discovering the Next Great HR Technology” company contest.
The competition, which follows the style of the popular television show “The Voice,” involves HR tech coaches taking startup teams from unknown to “best future solution” status. The coaches for the competition are Ben Eubanks, principal analyst, Lighthouse Research; Lance Haun, analyst, The Starr Conspiracy; Steve Boese, co-chair, HR Technology Conference; George LaRocque, principal analyst and founder, #HRWins; and Madeline Laurano, analyst, Aptitude Research Partners.
The startups in the competition are Beamery, a candidate relationship solutions company; BeeKeeper, an employee communication app; Best Money Moves, an employee financial wellness company; Blueboard, an experiential rewards and recognition company; HiBob, a people management company; Moovila, a mobile collaboration company; PapayaGlobal, a global workforce management company, and Proxfinity, an employee engagement company.
"The HR Technology Conference is known as the best destination to meet with industry innovators,” conference co-chair David Shadovitz said in a statement. “Along with the Next Great HR Tech session, our startup pavilion -- the largest of any expo -- is sold out with 48 exhibitors. Attendees seeking new ways of solving business problems are assured of finding fresh approaches and new solutions."
