California-based financial consultant Performant seeks a senior human resources operations specialist.
Duties of the full-time role include creating and assigning training courses, ensuring employee compliance with assigned training, maintaining accurate tracking of clearance status and processes, conducting local fingerprinting, developing and maintaining documented workflows and procedures for HR functions, organizing HR data for audits, conducting miscellaneous analysis in support of HR functions, promoting positive employee relations, and participating in corporate HR initiatives and projects.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field; at least three years of HR experience; intermediate to advanced Excel spreadsheet skills; strong communication, time management, and decision-making skills; the ability to handle confidential information; and knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
Preferred qualifications include experience in a fast paced environment with a large employee base, HR certification, experience with SkillPort and/or Workday, and experience with Sharepoint/Website development.
