Infor, a provider of business applications for specific industry needs, has been selected by W.S. Badcock Corp. to offer an expanded cloud system.
"Our company is focused on utilizing technology in order to be more agile and to better service our customers, employees and suppliers," Lori Walsh, vice president of Human Resources at Badcock, said in a statement. "We are in the process of replacing our legacy ERP systems with Infor to keep our back office strategies as responsive as possible, and we believe that expanding our partnership with Infor to include human capital management applications will reduce administrative burdens and help us strategically select the right candidates to support our operations, better positioning us for future growth."
Badcock, a leading furniture retailer, operates more than 330 stores in eight states. It first selected Infor last year for a retail cloud suite to replace its old systems and to move critical financial and HR systems to the cloud. Now, the company has expanded the cloud portfolio to include Infor Talent Science, which will help in increasing employee retention.
"We made a strategic decision to expand our partnership with Infor, and implement additional cloud-based solutions. Infor understands our business goals and has applications that will improve our processes so we can put more focus on providing a premiere retail experience for our growing customer base," Greg Reeves, vice president and chief financial officer of Badcock, said in a statement. "We look forward to seeing where this takes us as we improve hiring and set the stage for continued success in our organization."
