Earning double certifications, the Pittsburgh Business Group on Health (PBGH) has secured membership in the Society of Human Resources Management Association's (SHRM) Recertification Provider Network and secured a second designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).
Consequently, HR professionals can now earn continuing education credits for programs offered by PBGH. Among the first opportunities will be the 2017 Health Care Symposium: Health Care at the Crossroads on Thursday at the downtown Pittsburgh Marriott; as well as online learning programs.
The 2017 Health Care Symposium will feature topics ranging from AI, deductibles, partnerships, wellness, provider costs, consumer education, vendor management and more. To register for the 2017 Health Care Symposium, visit www.pbghsymposium.com.
PBGH’s online learning will now better enhance recertification for industry workers seeking SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP; as well as support advancement for current HRCI-certified professionals.
"We are honored to be selected by both SHRM and HRCI regarding our ongoing efforts to advance industry education related to health care," Jessica Brooks, CEO and executive director at PBGH, said. "The rapid pace of the changing health care landscape demands HR professionals build their arsenal of knowledge to better help their organizations drive value and improve benefits for employees."
