At Walldorf, Germany’s recent SuccessConnect 2017 event, SAP SE demonstrated new HR capabilities with its social collaboration software, “SAP Jam Collaboration,” capable of integrating people, content, data and applications to increase engagement and lower costs.
Acting essentially as a self-service feature for HR help desks, SAP (Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processing) Jam Collaboration brings new capabilities to mentoring initiatives by making it easier for all parties to share information, partly through automation.
“In today’s competitive business environment, human resources professionals need modern tools to streamline administrative and employee support processes so they can focus on developing and supporting talent,” Daisy Hernandez, who serves as SAP global vice president for product management, enterprise collaboration. “SAP is committed to blending online mentoring experiences with valuable real-life connections, helping to make important employee development programs like mentoring and coaching the best they can be.”
SAP is a German multinational software corporation developing enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations.
Its branded SAP Jam Collaboration links people and information, while also expediting problem-solving and decision-making; establishes connections for collaboration among clients, partners, vendors and suppliers; and does it all via “enterprise-grade” security and scalable integration with third-party software.
