Hexion, an Ohio-based manufacturer of thermoset resin products, has openings for recent graduates to pursue its 2018 human resources career development program -- an educational, rewarding opportunity in the form of a two-year rotation.
Selected candidates will train as HR generalists under the guidance of an assigned mentor, performing tasks in labor relations; HR information technology; health and wellness; compensation; field HR; performance management; and talent acquisition.
“The project assignments are designed to empower you to challenge convention by building a creative solution to some of the most difficult programs we face in our business,” company representatives said.
Requirements include a bachelors degree in HR, leadership or related area with good academic standing; the ability to relocate for at least one six-month rotation period; no more than two years’ experience in the chemical field; and eligibility for obtaining a Transportation Worker’s Identification Card (TWIC ).
Successful applicants will work with a high performance team to deliver innovative solutions; oversee process improvements for cost savings and streamlined efficiency; and apply creative thinking to achieve successful results.
Hexion emphasizes delivering value-based services with safety, ethics and environmental responsibility at the forefront.
“Through high performance team work and ingenuity, our associates deliver solutions that continually expand the possible, propelling Hexion into the future of chemical manufacturing,” the company said.
