The State of New York is looking for a full-time staffing and training coordinator within the environmental services department.
Duties of the position include maintaining vacant positions, overseeing the hiring process, developing and implementing training programs for new and existing staff members, and participating in employment outreach activities.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field, and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They must also have supervisory experience, and strong communication, computer, customer service and organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in a hospital or health care setting, as well as prior experience in environmental services, and building and maintaining a training program.
