Remedying HR’s reputation as a “soft skill” and its under-representation in the boardroom, Kronos Inc. leaders plan to boost HR’s profile Wednesday at the New Orleans Convention Center’s SHRM 2017 event.
Kronos’ chief people officer David Almeda and vice president of global talent acquisition Kristen Brown will present an hour-long accredited session at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Annual Conference & Exposition entitled “Make HR a Strategic Weapon for Your Organization: An Evidence-Based Approach to HR” to empower participants to build evidence-based HR strategies that will amplify resources, impact and credibility within the larger context of an organization.
Almeda and Brown will conduct the session from 10-11:15 a.m. in Room 243-245 of the Morial Convention Center, located at 900 Convention Center Blvd.The presentation qualifies attendees to receive 1.25 SHRM professional development credits and 1.25 business credits.
The Kronos executives bring innovation and strategy gleaned from their combined years of experience, as well as top credentials in their field. Kronos will also operate a booth during the exposition; attendees can visit booth No. 1532.
