Foodservice distributor US Foods needs a human resource lead administrator at its Rosemont, Illinois headquarters.
Duties of the full-time position include providing administrative support for local recruiting activities, coordinating new hire orientations and on-boarding events, creating and processing documentation related to personnel moves such as promotions and equity increases, processing leave management, coordinating employee programs, maintaining employee personnel records, creating approval request forms for special payments and reimbursements, and providing general administrative support to the corporate HR team.
Prospective candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED; at least three years HR experience; problem-solving skills; the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment; proficiency with Microsoft Office; and knowledge of HR practices and procedures, HRIS systems, and state and federal employment laws.
Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in business administration, HR certification, and experience with the systems PeopleSoft, Taleo, Kronos and Workday.
