A pair of personnel analytics applications recently joined the roster of Santa Monica, California-based Cornerstone OnDemand, debuting respectively as Cornerstone Engage and Cornerstone Benchmark to lend companies greater on-the-spot work pool insight and facilitate decision-making.
Cornerstone OnDemand CEO and founder Adam Miller described the two programs as bridging the gap between pure analytics and everyday workforce options by allowing real-time application of evaluation.
Cornerstone Engage came into being to keep pace with evolving recognition of employee engagement’s effect on overall company profit. Using the platform, businesses can measure workers’ positions regarding office culture, manager satisfaction and more using various types of surveys and, significantly, allowing honest feedback by providing confidentiality. Workers can give feedback at their convenience either online or on their mobile phones, enhancing access.
Cornerstone Benchmark permits business leaders to collect data for benchmarking purposes, delving into areas such as diversity, employee trends, professional development and talent acquisition. The application automatically preserves anonymity, aggregating data before results are shared externally in full compliance with privacy laws.
Tractor Supply Company’s HR director Matthew Oddo reported his company now finds itself better equipped to manage growth since signing on with Cornerstone in 2010.
“We’re looking forward to using the workforce data from those tools to glean critical insights about our business, share those insights across the organization and find opportunities to drive workforce retention and expansion,” Oddo said.
Cornerstone OnDemand provided cloud-based learning and human capital management software. Additional Cornerstone clients include Comerica, SiteOne, The Warranty Group and Wayne County Airport Authority.
