Among the responsibilities of the director are identifying and implementing best practices for recruitment, building relationships with internal customers and external recruitment agencies, conducting job interviews, managing and developing the team of HR and talent specialists, identifying cost reduction opportunities within the recruitment department, and providing guidance on employee relations issues.

Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in HR, business management or related field; at least five years of progressive recruiting and HR experience in a management position; strong time management skills; and knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
