Wichita State University in Kansas is looking for a full-time human resources representative.
Duties of the position include assisting with open enrollment and benefit fairs, counseling employees on benefits and retirement programs, managing benefit administration processes, maintaining and updating benefits data, and preparing reports.
Prospective candidates must possess two years of college coursework in HR, business or related subject; at least three years of related experience; strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills; experience using database management, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software; knowledge of computerized HR and payroll systems; and the ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred qualifications include experience working in higher education, as well as experience with Banner, ACA regulations, and FMLA and FLSA regulations.
