Plan International, a community development organization dedicated to ending the cycle of poverty for children and their families, seeks a human resources business partner.
Duties of the position include updating job descriptions, assisting with recruiting efforts, developing and executing a robust on-boarding program, developing training programs, identifying talent management opportunities, administering compensation and benefits, providing day-to-day performance management guidance, developing employee learning solutions, resolving employee relations issues, tracking HR metrics, analyzing HR trends, leading health and wellness initiatives, and assisting with the development and dissemination of HR policies and practices.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in HR or related field; at least five years experience in a HR management role; experience in hiring expatriates and managing expatriate benefits; strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and recruiting skills; and knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
Applicants should be able to work independently and as part of a team, adjust to pressing needs, and handle confidential information.
Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, HR experience in the INGO sector and HR certification.
