MetroPCS, a T-Mobile division, seeks an employee success partner (HR business partner) for its Brooklyn, New York territory to assist the HR team in employee advocacy, recruiting and training.
With a focus on strategic thinking, innovation, talent management and cultivation of relationships, the employee success partner’s job will require “inspirational leadership” and dedication to the company culture.
The partner will offer guidance to colleagues on policy, industry regulation compliance, performance matters and leadership training. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in business, HR or similar area (or the equivalent in work experience) plus at least six years of HR generalist work with a focus on employee relations and organizational structure.
Top-notch interpersonal skills are paramount with an emphasis on service, discretion and ability to prioritize. The partner will be able to function both independently and as a team player with moderate pressure and ample flexibility, utilizing superior communications skills and modeling adaptability.
Candidates should be fluent in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio) and have an HR certification. The position involves travel approximately 30 percent of the time.
