Richards Building Supply in Homer Glen, Illinois, is seeking an HR generalist to be a part of the profitable 39-year-old business.
The person who fills this position will be a champion of the organizational culture and support the daily activity of the company’s wellness program and performance management processes; additional duties including overseeing drug and alcohol testing and temporary labor administration.
A successful applicant for this position will have some experience with human resources and three or more years working in the field. An associates degree in human resources or business administration will be helpful, but the company will consider applicants with a combination of study and practical experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and impeccable communication abilities are a must, as well as the ability to organize and work on several projects at once. The person chosen for the position must be able to work independently, but also in a team environment. Advanced Excel skills are an absolute necessity, and preference will be given to candidates with Ultimate Software proficiency.
