Chugach Alaska Corp., a business services provider, is looking for a full-time human resources manager.
Duties of the position include coordinating the sourcing of potential employees, interviewing potential employees, extending job offers, conducting orientation for newly hired employees, maintaining employee files, reviewing program performance results, dealing with employee relations issues, and preparing reports.
Prospective candidates must possess a current and valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or related field; at least three years HR experience, with two years experience in recruiting; intermediate or higher skills in Microsoft Office; strong communication and customer service skills; and knowledge of HR practices and procedures, as well as employment laws.
Applicants should be able to multi-task, work well under pressure and handle confidential information. Preferred qualifications include previous sales experience and PHR certification.
