Kronos Inc. has added two new modules to its Kronos Workforce Ready human capital management (HCM) cloud platform.
“Human resource professionals continue to take on a more strategic role as organizations compete to attract and retain top talent, develop and engage their workforce, and more effectively manage the employee lifecycle from pre-hire to retire," Bob DelPonte, Kronos' vice president and general manager, said. "Too often, manual processes and time-consuming administrative work detract from HR’s ability to act strategically and concentrate on their people. This is especially true with talent acquisition and performance management."
The Workforce Ready Talent Acquisition assists organizations in finding and identifying best-fit new talent. It automates the recruitment and hiring process to support an HCM environment. It also enhances the candidate's experience by auto-populating the application fields using LinkedIn profiles or resume tools. Automated notifications keep the applicant informed as the hiring process progresses.
The second module, Workforce Ready Performance Management, helps keep the organization on track with continuous employee development and by establishing clear goals. When groups and individual employees understand their roles and how they impact the team performance, they know what the organization's expectations are for success. With real-time, evidence-based feedback, managers can encourage employees to increase engagement and retention.
"The introduction of dedicated modules within Workforce Ready will make it even more efficient for organizations to identify best-fit talent and provide powerful tools for managers to help all employees – both salaried or hourly – develop in a meaningful way," DelPonte said. "Workforce Ready has always supported these critical business functions and will continue to deliver new and unique innovations made possible through our unified platform approach.”
