Dick's Sporting Goods is seeking an experienced human resources administrator for its distribution center in Goodyear, Arizona.
Goodyear is a suburb of Phoenix.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of HR generalist experience. The HR administrator is responsible for all hourly staffing needs, internal posting, external hiring, temporary staffing, safety, FMLA/LOA and workers' compensation administration and procedures.
The ability to administer and communicate HR policies and procedures is essential. In addition, the HR administrator will assist with investigations and address employee concerns as appropriate. Coordinating, administering and facilitating employee relations activities, orientation and training programs are also the responsibility of the administrator.
The position requires excellent interpersonal communication skills and an ability to multi-task.
Excellent PC skills with experience in maintaining a PeopleSoft database and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office are required. Experience with Kronos and Taleo is a plus.
The HR administrator's hours are from Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., except payroll Monday, when the schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Friday schedule is from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
