Global aerospace and defense technology company Northrop Grumman is looking for human resources coordinator in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

Duties of the position include supporting various HR functions, assisting with local hiring events, processing layoff and severance paperwork, completing department change requests, managing HR projects and logistics, scheduling meetings, collecting HR data and metrics, and generating reports.

Prospective candidates must possess an associates degree in business or HR related field, two years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; U.S. citizenship; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills; the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; a strong desire to grow in the HR field; and the ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a HR-related field, previous HR experience, familiarity with HRIS, strong analytical skills, and experience working on business-related projects, developing presentations and leading small groups.
