Zion Elementary School District 6 in Illinois seeks a human resources and technology administrative assistant.
Duties of the position include generating job postings, conducting new hire onboarding, processing employment verifications, maintaining files and records, tracking leaves of absences, processing work compensation claims, scheduling appointments for the technology department, ordering and maintaining office supplies and forms, managing packing slips and shipping receipts, and scheduling job fairs.
Prospective candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; three years of customer service experience; experience in a HR or administrative position; hands-on experience with an HRIS; proficiency with Microsoft Office; and strong communication, organizational and task management skills.
Applicants should be able to work independently, multi-task, meet deadlines, quickly adapt to new computer applications, and handle confidential information.
Preferred qualifications include an associates degree or higher, and the ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
