Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City seeks a full-time human resources professional with prior work experience in an office support environment to assist in hiring procedures and the office’s day-to-day functions.
While an associate’s degree or equivalent experience with some college-level work is acceptable, a bachelor’s degree and a background in HR, recruiting and/or learning management systems is a plus. Specifically, the position requires three years of office support and two years in customer service.
The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to representing the Oklahoma State University brand. Substantial interface with the public requires an individual with demonstrated professional behavior, interpersonal skills, diplomacy and a genuine motivation to help others in a multicultural work environment.
Communications by phone and email will necessitate top written and verbal skills. The specialist will be expected to perform analytical as well as technical tasks. Expertise with computers, fax machines and scanners; the internet, and Microsoft Office programs is expected.
Flexibility and the capacity to handle multiple deadlines and a changeable workflow are a must, as is the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Pay is $11.66 per hour with work hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
