The world’s largest foam cup and container producer, Dart Container, seeks a qualified HR compliance manager for its Mason, Michigan headquarters to support daily EEO/AA compliance and other accommodations and to oversee general HR functions.
A bachelor’s degree in HR, psychology or parallel field with five years of experience with AA compliance and employee relations; three years in training work, and two years of supervisory work are prerequisites for this position. Top communications and organizational skills, full aptitude in Microsoft Office applications and effective presentation skills are a must.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate competence with statistical analysis, maintain confidentiality and create positive relationships with personnel at all levels.
The compliance manager will be responsible for ensuring fairness in all areas of employment; serving as a liaison to outside compliance agencies; coordinating EEO/AA and immigration procedures, and managing internal auditing. This position requires a well-developed capacity to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet deadlines.
The successful applicant will make recommendations on personnel and compensation such as performance appraisals; implement staff activities and conduct internal training. Additionally, he or she will cultivate a company philosophy and culture designed to maximize employee welfare. An advanced degree and/or SAP experience is a plus.
