Hands-on human resource management is required by the Kraft Heinz Co. in its Fresno, California plant with a focus on problem-solving, implementing goals and contributing to the company’s long-term objectives.
Strong leadership and communications skills, experience in labor relations and the capacity to balance multiple roles within the position are highly desired. A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s in HR, business administration or a similar area is preferable. Applicants should have at least five to eight years of HR experience with demonstrated advancement; a background in manufacturing is a plus.
At least two years of management and program development are highly desirable. Candidates should have current knowledge of Federal and State laws regarding employment to ensure compliance.
The HR business partner will work with management and staff to sustain a positive work atmosphere; strive for employee engagement, promote employee wellness and advocate for individuals; ensure professional development opportunities for employees, fortify relationships with unions, handle contractual negotiations and generally provide counsel on all personnel matters.
He or she will also assist with corporate initiatives, oversee compensation packages and participate annually in a quality risk management process audit, as well as manage the HR department budget.
