Aetna needs a full-time, non-supervisory experienced HR professional for its Downers Grove, Illinois location to provide consulting and solutions for senior staff, guide talent strategy and foresee staffing needs within an inspiring work culture.

The HR partner will function as a colleague of the senior business leaders’ management team, serving as an advisor to support effective talent management and overall strategy. Performance assessment; compensation, benefits and recognition programs; tracking metrics, and offering leadership development opportunities are among the HR partner’s primary responsibilities. The partner will assist in planning future personnel requirements based on industry and prevailing market conditions.
Additionally, the successful applicant will strive for best practices and study industry trends. Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus four to six years in employee relations and leadership coaching; and seven to 10 years in talent development, workforce planning and organizational design.
