Acciona S.A., an infrastructure services consortium headquartered in Alcobendas, Spain, has an opening for a human resources administrator and generalist to manage U.S. and Canadian payroll operations under the direction of the company’s HR leadership.
For payroll duties, applicants should be familiar with ADP and able to manage time, oversee attendance and PTO records. In cooperation with the HR director and/or outside consultants, the individual will input foreign compensation and hypo withholding for staffers working abroad.
Additionally, he or she will manage a compliance calendar for company tax purposes and collect global-based data for reporting fulfillment.
Benefits administration duties will include implementing all Acciona North America benefit plans, comprising medical, dental, accidental death/dismemberment (AD&D), short- and long-term disability (STD/LTD), COBRA and 401K programs.
HR administration will entail managing accounts payable, invoices, personnel files, expense reports and similar documents and processes; while generalist activities will comprise help with immigration documentation, employee relations, recruiting and other responsibilities as needed.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree plus two to three years of HR administration background in performance management, employee relations, compliance, recruiting, payroll and benefits.
