LeGrand North America LLC, a provider of information network installation products and systems, has an opportunity for an experienced, bilingual (English/Spanish) HR generalist to join its Fairfield, New Jersey-based Middle Atlantic Products Team.
The HR generalist will deliver strategic and administrative support for staff, management and the HR department teams, serving as first point of contact with all new hires and providing recruitment, orientation and onboarding, administration of benefits and wellness programs, and training.
Additionally, he/she will ensure adequate policy interpretation, workers’ compensation and leave of absence processing, and employee recognition incentives along with company events and regular HR/payroll systems responsibilities.
Applicants must be completely bilingual; have a bachelor’s degree in HR management, business administration or similar field; and one to five years of HR experience demonstrating advancement. The generalist will ensure compliance with HR budgeting, provide support for all personnel regarding benefits and wellness, and manage multiple aspects of data management and reporting.
Attention to detail and mastery of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software is expected as well as proficiency in meeting management software, email and web-based platforms.
