The Lia Auto Group is offering an immediate opening involving new hire procedures; exit, leave and unemployment processing; and weekly payroll duties for its locations in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Applicants should be familiar with state labor regulations. An associate’s degree in business, accounting or similar area is required, plus at least one year of experience with high volume payroll work.
Candidates should be proficient in computer applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and additional platforms. Previous experience with Ultimate Software is especially desirable, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
The position requires someone with an eye for detail, the initiative to work independently and a strong sense of confidentiality. Outstanding interpersonal, analytical and communications skills are a must, as are the abilities to multitask, follow through and make deadlines.
