Walgreens is looking for an employee relations specialist in Deerfield, Illinois.
Duties of the full-time position include conducting workplace investigations, recommending solutions to address workplace issues, assisting with the preparation of corrective action documents and performance improvement plans, providing education on available HR services, and ensuring the workplace is free of discrimination and harassment.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor's degree; at least three years of HR experience; intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office; strong communication, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of employment and labor laws on the local, state and federal levels; and the willingness to travel up to 5 percent of the time for business purposes.
Preferred qualifications include PHR/SPHR certifications, employee relations experience, and experience working in a customer service environment.
