Oracle NetSuite Global Business Unit, providing cloud financial services, enterprise resource planning (ERP), HR and multichannel software platforms, recently launched SuitePeople, its newest system in NetSuite’s unified service package, from its Las Vegas hub.
Until now, business owners had little choice but to perform a multitude of HR tasks in separate programs. Company leaders say that NetSuite is the first ERP entity to offer companies a single platform from which to direct key procedures across ERP, customer relations management, professional services automation, omnichannel trade, and now — HR as well.
"Since its inception, NetSuite has believed that the best way to run a business is with a unified suite," Oracle NetSuite Global Business Unit’s Executive Vice President Jim McGeever said. “Today, we are incredibly excited to complete that vision with the launch of SuitePeople. NetSuite has always delivered applications designed to run a complete business not just a department. And that same philosophy was built into the core of SuitePeople, the most unified flexible core HR offering ever available."
SuitePeople excels in its ability to overlay personnel data on suite functions, enabling business owners to exercise control over core HR processes. From asking for time off and obtaining information from directories or flowcharts to monitoring new hires and publicly acknowledging excellence among staffers, SuitePeople lets entrepreneurs streamline all HR functions in one platform.
“Systems are the backbone of your business, but the heartbeat is your people," Joseph Fung, the company’s vice president of product development, said.
