Food service equipment and supplies dealer TriMark Marlinn is looking for a human resources manager in Bedford Park, Illinois.
Duties of the full-time position include managing recruiting procedures, implementing training and development programs, communicating compensation and benefits information to employees, coordinating leaves of absences, resolving employee relations issues, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in HR/business administration; at least seven years related HR experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong communication, presentation, influencing, negotiation and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
Applicants should be able to work as a team player, quickly learn company HR and payroll reporting systems, prioritize assigned tasks, and implement HR best practices.
Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, PHR or SPHR certification, HR experience in a multi-state environment, and union experience.
