Travel Inc., an innovative, progressive and fast-paced firm in Duluth, Georgia, needs a full-time HR coordinator equipped with a background in screening, hiring, audits, policy and other standard administrative duties.
Adaptability is a key factor in qualifications. The HR coordinator assists management with phone calls, reference checks, new hire orientation procedures and receptionist support.
The successful candidate will help with employee recognition initiatives, internal auditing, paperwork and regular inspections of the physical facility space to ensure code compliance, occasionally involving contact with outside vendors to perform maintenance and repairs.
In addition, the coordinator is responsible for keeping vendor credentials current as well as performing other clerical tasks on an as-needed basis.
A bachelor’s degree and at least two years of HR experience are needed; PHR is preferred. The coordinator will demonstrate functional knowledge of the internet and familiarity with standard office software platforms. A keen level of attention to detail is required.
Desirable characteristics in applicants include a strong degree of discretion and confidentiality; superior customer service, interpersonal and communications skills; a high aptitude for organizational thinking, and the motivation to perform as a team player — modeling a positive, professional and flexible demeanor.
