The general counsel will be responsible for managing a docket of employment-related cases in varied stages and spanning assorted jurisdictions, stemming mainly from the company’s consumer and community banking division.

Candidates should have at least three years of relevant experience including work with a major law firm or large in-house company setting. Knowledge of labor law and employment regulations — including but not limited to workplace accommodations, performance management, discrimination, discipline, training, intellectual property issues and more — and the capacity to handle all labor and employment issues are required, along with strong organizational, communications, computer and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will manage multiple projects and priorities and cultivate successful relationships with clients and colleagues. Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus; project management background is also preferred.
