Nationwide electrical engineering service firm E2i Inc., a “one-stop shop” for automated client solutions, seeks an HR generalist/recruiter for its headquarters in the Chicago area.
This full-time entry-level position is designed to provide support to all E2i employees. The generalist/recruiter will assist in the areas of compensation and benefits, recruitment, employee relations, training and development by developing strategies, supporting various activities, implementing HR best practices and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Applicants are expected to have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or other relevant field; between two and four years of experience as a generalist/recruiter, basic HR skills competency, and knowledge of labor laws at the federal, state and local levels.
Some travel is needed (up to 10 percent); SHRM or HRCI certification is preferable. Additionally, the capacity to handle confidential information with sensitivity is a must.
The qualified candidate will be a team player who can successfully coordinate nationwide work groups remotely from Illinois; coach managers, and support skills development while also using HR systems efficiently.
