A well-rounded HR generalist is needed for a position in Naperville by the Illinois Hospital Association Political Action Committee (IHA PAC), a nonpartisan independent organization with branches in Illinois and Washington, D.C.
This professional will manage daily HR responsibilities of guiding management in recruitment and hiring, developing affirmative action plans and ensuring compliance with labor law. He/she will help staff and supervisors to resolve problems; counsel employees regarding leaves of absence; administer surveys, and perform analysis.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, though a master’s and PHR/SPHR certification are preferable; competence in all HR areas; communications and interpersonal skills, and highly developed organizational abilities.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive, able to serve as an informational resource, and capable of ensuring that daily tasks meet deadlines. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Technical mastery of Microsoft Office is required. The HR manager will report directly to the organization’s Director of Human Resources.
