Tampa, Florida-based business and IT services and solutions provider System Soft Technologies requires a human resources assistant to support staff with orientation, compensation, benefits and engagement who is proficient in industry regulations and compliance matters.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in HR, business or similar field, one to two years of HR work experience, strict confidentiality standards and cultural sensitivity to engage a diverse work force, as well as superior organizational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a time-sensitive setting.
Familiarity with employment regulations and immigration experience are a plus, as is basic knowledge of Paylocity and Microsoft Office Suite.
This full-time position involves general administrative support and specifically oversight of corporate HR policies including compensation, benefits, 401(k) administration, compliance, employee relations, recruitment, safety, and training and development.
The successful candidate will engage regularly with new hires; conduct orientation, monitor compliance reports and audits, and process terminations.
Additionally, he or she will maintain all employee documentation, respond to requests and queries, uphold company policies and channel inquiries appropriately, including the escalation of concerns when necessary.
