Ernst & Young seeks an HR generalist/people consultant supervising associate for its core business service sector to operate out of Boston, New York or San Francisco.
The position involves coordination and facilitation of human resources activities specifically for the firm’s Financial Services Organization's advisory practice. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; and at least five years of experience in the HR field.
Applicants should possess a fundamental knowledge of HR law and practices and familiarity with internal policy standards for professional services companies. Multitasking and managing deadlines are a must, as are good networking skills and the ability to work independently.
The successful candidate will collaborate across departments to create and maintain personnel strategies including performance management; leadership development; recruiting, training and orientation; compensation; and reporting protocol. He or she will represent the company as first contact for client groups; handle internal employee relations issues; and maintain information about staffing, salary and budget matters.
Implementation of standard HR practices will inform daily work, including identifying HR concerns and risks; designing systems for performance, compensation and career support; communicating across the board to different departments and recommending improvements. Additionally, the Associate will work on crafting HR programs for Ernst & Young client groups.
