Lombard, Illinois-based Power Wellness Management has an opening for an organized, experienced HR director of benefits with strengths in communication and familiarity with industry regulations to manage its health and welfare benefit areas.
The benefits director oversees planning and implementation of the company’s benefits programs with an eye to cost-efficient, compliant practices and a perspective on the company’s industry-wide standing in terms of benefits delivery.
Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources management or related field and at least eight to 10 years of experience. Standard certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP are desirable, as are strong interpersonal and decision-making skills. Some travel is required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for manifesting Power Wellness’ strategic objectives; developing cost control systems, and cultivating strong, positive professional relationships with both colleagues and clients, in compliance with the company’s Team Member Handbook.
