Valley Truck and Tractor Co. is hiring a full-time human resource manager in Yuba City, California.

Duties of the position include scheduling interviews with potential employees, assisting with candidate selection processes, performing training during new employee orientation, managing employee files, developing employee policies and procedures, managing compensation and benefit plans, implementing employee engagement programs, managing performance evaluation processes, overseeing the administration of employee development activities, managing safety and health plans, and ensuring compliance with worker health and safety requirements and regulations on the local, state and federal levels.

Prospective candidates must possess a bachelor's degree; strong communication skills; the ability to use standard desktop load applications and internet functions; expert knowledge of employment laws, policies and regulations; knowledge of database software and HR computer application systems; and the ability to work as a team player.

Preferred qualifications include a degree in HR/business management or equivalent experience, and more than ten years HR experience.
